What is going on with Kinja and photo rights? I try to post a photo I took and they questioned me. I am DONE posting multiple photos here if this is a new feature. DONE. Not many great DOTS but I haven’t been walking on streets or driving in the hot spots recently. I have a few Jeeps for the Jeep peeps. You guys can guess what’s under the car cover, I actually know this car but I never knew where it lived. I found another REAL Defender, haven’t seen the new awful one yet. A toaster tanked bike for the bike people. Oh I saw a new Land Rover with the electronic license plate, very rare, I have only seen them on Teslas in the past, you know the Tesla people want to have as much tech as possible on their badly built car, lots of SpaceX plate frames on them too around here. I went to get a scan at the hospital and there was a clean Legend, if you see one of those they are usually beat to shit.

Looks like they had to take the spare off to use the Kuat rack, hope you don’t get a flat. I had a CRV just like that.

Not the best plate for the cops, they own a local wine bar.

Odd color for the Jeep people to discuss.

One other thing I did this week was find a rear cargo cover thing for the wagon. They want $450 or more for these things at the Acura dealer and nobody sells them here, I have checked the Acura forums. So I was thinking, this is an Accord in other places and I doubt this part would be different. Looks the same to me so I found one in the UK and ordered it with shipping for half of what the dealer charges here. It looks like it has a dent but at least my car will be complete, it was annoying me:

This is Henry, he is a brindle Frenchie that the party supply store owner has, we haven’t seen him since the start of the lockdown. It’s a small store they have owned for 35 years, they always have some bulldogs. He is four months younger than Sylvie so they have been close in size since they met as puppies. They played for an hour non stop and then passed out.

Nice spots. I know some like “patina”, but that 65 Squire needs to be restored. Appears to be on a plate sequence likely original to the car, too.

The Marvin Gaye pic is also very cool, looks like a Silver Cloud III DHC, 1963-65, like Rodney Dangerfield’s Car in ‘Caddyshack’.

Oppo is a crazy place, we used to be associated with Jalopnik and then they exiled us on top of all the bullshit. I remember some redesign was so bad and they only had it for the US site, so I would go to the Canukistani site and use that.

That Country Squire is absolutely gorgeous, as are a lot of the cars you posted holy moly. Also I think I found a trunk cover myself, though I’m asking the guy for the dimensions just in case. I don’t mind something being shipped to me internationally, but shipping something back is a costly pain.

I see this Squire around, I think I posted it before. But I got a better look, I know where it lives now. The guy has the covered car (Volvo P1800 shootingB), and the Fiat too. It sure seems like they love it or I would ask to buy it.

As long as it’s the right generation TSX/Accord it should be ok, there are a lot of previous gen ones out there. Yeah I want to ask if they will sell the Squire but I have a feeling they love it and they own the Volvo and Fiat, so they are a car dude and likely won’t part with it. It’s all original down to the plate.

T he fact that it exists and is relatively clean, if not weathered, means someone is attached to it, yeah. Those cars are pretty rare nowadays - it would be a looker if cleaned up.

IIRC Fiat 130 was never sold here, private import, so the owner is definitely an enthusiast.

Oh yes I have seen this little monster. Nom nom unicorn. I don’t remember what the electronic plates even do differently, but the most annoying, appliance car people seem to like them.

Woah those are awesome rims. I never particularly liked spokes that were perfectly straight, made them look like your average ceiling fan, but the black accents help it pop and I super dig it. They also match the car a lot better and that’s neat.
